The idiots online guide to sound engineering is a website that i set up probably for the same reason that your reading it. To get better at what i do. I'm a live sound engineer, i have been on the local music scene for about four years now and i am only young, but don't let that put you off. I have worked in different scenarios, working in defferent areas e.g. live music and theatre. So by now i think i have a fairly good understanding of how everything works and how it all fits together. And so i decided i'd type my knowledge out into a web site so that you lot can read about how i find it best to do my job.
I hope that this site can be a useful resource for anyone from people wanting to get started in sound, or for more advanced people.
